According to Shira, a beauty genius known online as “Simply Shira,” thick black eyeliner and blush placement can make you look much older.

Additionally, she also shared that your contour and lipstick can also make a big difference.

Sharing her advice on social media, Shira revealed the “makeup mistakes that are aging you.”

The brunette beauty shared her clip with the caption ‘Makeup mistakes that are aging you’. This one is for my millennial girls, simple changes can make all the difference.

She then stated that swiping a dark brown eyeshadow directly into the crease of your eye is a way to add years to your appearance.

Instead, Shira advised, “Apply medium brown eyeshadow on a fluffy brush just above the crease of your eye.”

When you do this, she claimed your eyes will appear “twice their size.”

Not only that, but if you’re still making thick black liquid eyeliner, prepare to be attacked.

Instead, Shira suggested, “It’s time to try a smoky brown eyeliner.”

Not only that, but if you apply blush to the lower part of your face and it doesn’t blend, you’ll need to take notes.

Shira recommended: “Instead, apply the blush a little higher up the litter of your cheek and make sure to give it a good blend.

Instead of applying contour to the hollow of your face, Shira said, “Instead, use it to give your face an instant lift. “

Lastly, if you wear light, dry lipstick, Shira shared, “Instead, use something vibrant and hydrating.”

BIG DIVISION

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @simply.shiraIt clearly left many speechless, as at the time of writing, the video has quickly racked up a jaw-dropping 702,100 views.

But social media users were divided over the clip – while most were grateful for the advice and made a point of expressing this in the comments, others said they would not ditch black eyeliner.
