NATURALLY beautiful and genetically blessed as they are, many stars have even seen the pointed end of a Botox syringe.

And that’s not all they’re doing, according to an injectable professional at a top Manhattan plastic surgeon’s office, who detailed the expensive skin treatments Met Gala attendees receive before the big event.

Neinstein Plastic Surgery is just steps from the Plaza Hotel and Bergdorf Goodman – and just a mile from the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Fifth Avenue.

The spot is perfect for celebrities and fashion royalty to nip in, cozy up and adjust before the big task on May 6th.

While the doctors won’t talk about their famous clientele, they told The US Sun that both stars and fashion industry insiders are setting up appointments.

In fact, their schedules get so busy leading up to the Met Gala that they work overtime on the weekends.

They said they have regular clients who get the same treatments every year, including getting Botox all over their face and fillers in their lips, chin or under-eye area.

“Many celebrities have the same fears and concerns about their appearance as regular people,” said head nurse and injectable specialist Tara Adashev.

They can also get the “Met Gala Glow” for an extra boost.

So what exactly does this entail?

It’s a combination of two treatments that aim to leave the skin with a “glassy glow,” according to Adashev.

She said it “prepares your skin for upcoming events without downtime.”

Taylor Dayne relies on laser treatments and cheap Pilates to stay young at 61 – the single mother also welcomed twins via surrogate years before Kim Kardashian and is back on tour

A PERSONALIZED GLOW

The first is the $400 Aquagold facial, which is customizable and can target fine lines and wrinkles, brighten dull skin, shrink pores, and lighten acne scars through microneedling.

“It’s a cocktail that’s completely suited to your skin type,” explained Adashev.

“We’re addressing your skin’s needs—not mine, not anyone else’s,” she added, noting that it starts with a mini-assessment and chooses which ingredients to include accordingly.

Then vitamins, minerals, hyaluronic acid, Botox, and anything else she chooses are injected into the skin with quick little pricks.

Treatment is recommended 24 to 48 hours in advance, although Adashev said some people will have it done the morning of the red carpet.

“When this starts, your skin is glowing and your makeup looks nice and smooth,” she said.

“Everyone really likes the glassy skin, donut look,” she added, noting that it lasts three to four weeks.

The second part is the Lutronic Ultra laser, which costs about $800 per treatment.

It can also improve skin texture and treat sun damage, dark spots, pigmentation, and fine lines.

This one takes a little longer to get the full effects, so patients are more likely to set aside a little longer.

“This is good seven to ten days before the Met Gala for tightening and brightening skin, anti-aging, pores and wrinkles,” said Adashev.

It is considered low downtime for a laser treatment, getting “your best glow” in about a week.

According to Adashev, the finishing touch to all of this is a basic anti-aging product: Botox, which usually takes a few days to show results.

Does ‘Met Gala Glow’ Really Work?

US Sun lifestyle editor Carly Stern tried the treatment.

I’ve been to the Met Gala once — well, at least on the red carpet, where, as a reporter, I waved the stars to stop for interviews.

Kim Kardashian was pregnant that year and wore that controversial floral dress. I also took a grainy photo of Taylor Swift. It was magical.

Either way, I don’t see my personal invite coming anytime soon, but when I was offered the chance to get my own “Met Gala Glow,” it was an easy yes.

First, head nurse Tara Adashev assessed my skin to decide how I would customize the first part of the treatment, the Aquagold facial.

She noticed my fair skin, some redness on my cheeks, and pigmentation on my chin, and pulled out a few treats from her arsenal.

She gave me some vitamin C, Botox—which was injected only superficially, not into the muscle—and Skinvive, a new hyaluronic acid filler approved by the FDA last year.

This was all jabbed into my face with a microneedling tool, which pinched a bit, but wasn’t too bad. Everything only took a few minutes.

This was followed by the Lutronic Ultra laser, which took some mildly painful turns.

When I left the office, I’ll be honest: my face was on fire.

My skin is normally very sensitive, so this didn’t surprise me, and I was excited to put a cold compress on my face when I got home.

Fortunately, the burning was temporary and I was feeling much better about an hour and a half later.

Adashev warned me that my skin might feel like sandpaper for a few days, and it did — but, strangely, you couldn’t tell that just by looking at me.

After a few days, my skin’s texture was not only back to normal, but also smoother than before.

I also noticed that my skin tone was more even and the pores on my nose – which I spend a lot of time looking at in the mirror – were noticeably smaller.

The fine lines I have on my forehead and on my 11s were also less deep.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any gala to show off my glowing skin, but I’m thinking maybe it’ll be even better and I can really embrace my inner celebrity:

“No, Of course I didn’t do anything – I just naturally looks like it. You know, I eat healthy. I hydrate. Good genes, I guess.”
