BEING pregnant can be an exciting time, but there can also be some serious downsides.
Having struggled with hair loss in all pregnancyA mum found a way to get her hair back with £7 Amazon purchase.
If you’ve been struggling with postpartum hair loss, you’re not alone.
Hair loss is a surprisingly common side effect of pregnancy and is caused by hormonal activity in the body.
Often, pregnancy hormones cause your hair to suddenly enter the resting, telogen phase, with women losing more than 100 strands of hair per day after giving birth.
While it’s usually temporary, with hair returning to its normal thickness a year later, it can be stressful to see more strands on your brush.
In fact, one new mom revealed she even went bald after giving it as a gift.
To make matters even worse, her son would pull on the delicate strands, which only made the stains more prominent.
Determined to do something about it, she decided to try Nature’s Spell Rosemary Oilafter seeing this trend on social media earlier this year.
In an Amazon review, she later explained that the essential oil had been a “dream” for her postpartum hair loss and couldn’t stop raving about the hair care.
She explained: “I saw this advertised on TikTok so I was quite skeptical but desperate to try anything after postpartum hair loss and my baby pulling my hair out!”
Sharing her stunning before and after results, she added: “This is the difference after just a month of using this oil.
“I have been using it mainly on my temples, but also on the length of my hair, which becomes softer and healthier.
“I totally recommend it for new moms!”
While this may sound too good to be true, studies have shown that rosemary oil may be as effective as some hair growth medications.
Some research also suggests that the essential oil may help reduce bacterial infections and improve the overall condition of the scalp.
Although scientists are still figuring out what makes it so effective, the anonymous the buyer gave the product five stars and encouraged others to buy the essential oil as it only costs £6.99.
She wasn’t the only one with more than 590 five-star reviews of the essential oil.
In fact, there was just one problem with the product.
The new mum joked in her Amazon review: “The only downside is the smell which isn’t for everyone – my partner thought I was cooking lamb.”
If you’re tempted to try rosemary oil, we recommend adding a few drops (between 3-4) to your favorite conditioner before letting it sit on your hair for a few minutes.
You can then do your normal washing routine and ensure everything is washed well.
If only we knew it was so simple to get beautiful hair.
