So I had to give them a chance.
Full disclosure, I’m not normally a fan of highlighters, thanks to how shiny and unnatural they look on the skin.
However, when taking the first sampling Makeup Revolution Beam Bright HighlightersI was surprised by how pearly the formulas are, which means they offer a bright, illuminated look to the skin.
The formula consists of a compact, finely milled shimmer, meaning the highlighter offers a delicate lift and glow to the skin – without looking overly shiny or shimmery.
Beam of glowing markers It has a buttery, almost balm-like texture that’s easy to transfer to a brush or finger without much fallout.
I was surprised by how pigmented the formula was, which I tapped onto my cheekbones with a finger to lessen the intensity.
This worked wonders and provided a balanced distribution across my skin without looking patchy or heavy.
I also used my finger to apply the formula to the inner corners of my eyes to give the illusion of brighter, fuller eyes.
There are five shades to choose from (from pearls to pink), but my favorite is Diamond Glow, a beautiful opalescent white with warm undertones.
Not bad for £7.
