Reddit User Fake tan asked for beauty tips on the social platform, and many others delivered.

They asked some of the mothers, but Redditor Jeszmhna revealed some that she got from her father in a Comment.

They cover fitness, hair growth, skin care, and general well-being.

He also gave advice on eyebrows that prevent them from getting too thin.

“As you get older, keep a longer gap between eyebrow appointments,” she said.

There’s a specific reason why this can benefit your eyebrows in the long run.

If you used to do them every month until your early 20s, start spacing them out.

Once you reach this age range, try doing them every five or weeks.

Then, when you reach 30, spread them out even further and thread or wax them every six to eight weeks.

This is because as you age, hair growth slows down.

“He said if you keep up, there’s a good chance you’ll have very thin eyebrows later in life,” she explained.

Celebrity esthetician Kristin Gunn also shared one of the easiest ways to mess up your eyebrows with The US Sun.

“Don’t make the mistake of waxing and over-shaving. It can take six to eight weeks for the eyebrows to fully grow back,” she said.

Another has to do with general dental hygiene, which makes a big difference in your overall appearance.

She said her father told her to “always take care of your teeth.”

This goes far beyond regular brushing and flossing.

He also said to use mouthwash regularly and carry listerine strips with you, as well as going to the dentist twice a year.

Next, she covered general body hydration and anti-aging techniques for younger-looking skin.

Make sure your hands and elbows are properly hydrated.

She also recommended taking your beauty products up to your neck.

She also emphasized the importance of using sunscreen frequently, so reapply constantly.

Next, she explained how regular movement is good for your overall well-being.

If you don’t have a particularly active lifestyle, integrate a regular walking schedule into your daily routine.

The last tip resonated with many Redditors because it emphasized the importance of self-love.

She said that ultimately he taught her that “beauty will fade.”

“Make sure your life doesn’t revolve around your beauty, but don’t be ashamed to care about your appearance and make an effort to want to look good,” she added.

“Honestly, that last one hit me. Thank you for this,” commented one reader.

“I don’t have a dad, but yours looks adorable,” another Reddit user admitted.

    Anti-aging tips and ‘superstar’ products

Dr. Anatália Moore is a general practitioner and skin specialist with over 11 years of clinical experience.

She told The US Sun that her goal is to equip patients with the knowledge they need to take control of their skin’s journey.

She said the basics of a beauty routine are the same for all ages – it should include an effective cleanser, moisturizer and SPF.

“Moisturizers are my go-to, even when it comes to products that contain active ingredients,” she said.

“Finding a well-balanced moisturizer that provides the right kind of hydration, replaces natural oils, and seals them literally stabilizes the skin.

“This alone can quickly soften the appearance of fine lines and texture, as these are often worsened by dehydration.

“It also allows the skin to function as it should.

“It can then heal more quickly, which, among many things, can lead to fewer lines and wrinkles, fewer flare-ups of dermatitis and rosacea, and milder, shorter-lasting breakouts.”

Dr. Moore’s Basic Skin Care Products:

    • Obagi Hydrate and Hydrate Lux Moisturizer, $78
    • Adequate sleep
    • Balanced diet
    • Reducing stress
