AN unusual manicure has people talking for all the wrong reasons.

Critics were disgusted by its beauty and insisted it looked like animal waste.

Nail enthusiasts were a little less enthusiastic after seeing the design in a Facebook nail shaming group.

Although some of the nails on the person’s fingers turned out fine, the same cannot be said for the nails on the ring finger.

A long rock-like synthetic material detracted from the silver glitter design on the rest of the nails.

The long, gray stump was also triple the size of the other nails.

Facebook users were shocked by the nail art and quickly trashed it in the comments section.

“I feel like spiders are going to hatch from this,” one person said.

Others agreed that it reminded them of something disgusting that would come from an animal.

“It looks like a disgusting hairball that my cat threw up,” said another.

“You know those little water bugs that build a pile of rocks stuck in their butts?” asked a third.

“That’s what it looks like.”

The bride-to-be excitedly shows off her new engagement ring, but everyone is saying the same thing about her nails

Many noted that it looked like a rock – but not the kind you’d want on your finger.

“At least shape it and apply a clear coat; the thing sucks!” said a jokester.

Commenters questioned whether the manicurist may have missed a few steps during the session.

The nail was so bad that some thought it could be a sign of a potentially dangerous infection.

“It looks fungal,” said one commenter.

Some were too stunned to speak.

“What is happening?” asked one.

“I’m very confused,” said another.

“What the hell is happening?” asked a third.

“Mother of God”, replied a viewer.
