Carly (@vitamohaircare) shared hair growth tips in a viral video.

She explained that she was able to drastically transform her strands by following three important guidelines.

First, she had to stop accepting that genetics are the reason she had bad hair.

If that were really the case, she said she would have the same hair as her mother.

“The cool thing about hair and pretty much anything beauty-related is that you can always improve something if you don’t like it,” she said.

“Just like going to the gym, you may already have a great body, but going to the gym will only make it better.

“You may have horrible hair and it may not be Kim Kardashian’s hair when you start taking care of it, but at least it will be better than where you started.”

The second guideline that has made a big difference for her is accepting that dry hair is brittle hair, which also leads to damaged hair in the future.

To avoid hair breakage, she recommends avoiding dry hair at all costs.

Carly explained that she makes a point of keeping her ends hydrated and hydrated as much as possible.

The key, she revealed, is to incorporate hair oil with low molecular weight oil that can penetrate the cuticle, cortex and medulla layers of the hair.

Carly revealed that she switched from popular oils and Olaplex to pure oils like batana and apricot oil.

“My hair started to grow, my favorite oil now is batano,” she said.

The ingredient, she explained, has been a staple in many cultures to alleviate hair loss problems such as alopecia.

Carly uses the oil on her scalp on wash days, on her ends daily, as well as on her strands as a pre-shampoo treatment.

The hair expert also recommended choosing cold-pressed oils that are not exposed to high temperatures.

The heat used to boil the oil, she explained, kills many of the ingredient’s nutrients and benefits.

The last trick Carly uses is to be in tune with your hair process.

Everyone’s hair is different and requires different products, routines and care.

Finding the right products that work can be a process, but it’s worth investing the time to see a transformation.
