WITH this summer set to be one of the wettest on record, most of us won’t get much sun this year.
But a savvy shopper will maintain her tan, after finding St Tropez tan for less than £4 on the high street.
Like many of us influencer Caitlin Wilks was looking for a little sparkle after a dark and wet winter.
After scouring the high street, the 23-year-old managed to find an iconic St Tropez product for less than a third of the normal retail price.
Instead of controlling this bargain, the influencer later revealed on TikTok that she had found the fake tan at Home Bargains.
Caitlin even urged her fans to “run, don’t walk” to the discount store after seeing the St. Tropez Self Tan Berry Sorbet Mousse on the shelves.
It’s not hard to see why the beauty guru was so excited, as fake tan is said to provide up to 10 days of glowing, blemish-free skin.
Even better, the St. Tropez bronzer is said to be infused with skin-nourishing ingredients like moisturizing jojoba oil and vitamin E oil.
It’s also scented with berries, rose, and vanilla instead of the dreaded cookie scent, so no one will know your tan isn’t natural.
While other retailers sell the 200ml bottle for £34, Caitlin was able to bag them in the discount store for just £3.49 each. (Yes, you read that right.)
In the comments, the content creator’s fans were equally excited and desperate to get their hands on the fake tan.
One of them even joked: “Don’t walk, run… I think I’ll drive, thanks.”
“This is what I mean by at-home bargains being literally the best,” another enthused, with others saying self-tanner was a “need, not a want.”
As customers planned to stock up, Caitlyn revealed that she had already packed several bottles.
“What a bargain!! I had to buy two before they sold out,” she admitted in the comments.
Unfortunately, the fake tan is already sold out on the Home Bargains website, so you’ll have to visit your local branch to avoid disappointment.
Alternatively, you can shop one of the countless beauty bargains available in store now.
Instead of spending a small fortune on fake tan, shoppers have been selling brands like St Moriz, Bondi Sands and St. Tropez for less than a tenner.
In the comments, Caitlin revealed that she also stocks other brands at Home Bargains.
She wrote: “They had the Bondi Sands self-tanning spray which I always use on my face and it’s just £1.99 at home bargains.”
Better yet, you can still get the Buy Bondi Sands online.
Well, that’s our tan… now we just need some summer sun.
