BRIDGERTON star Nicola Coughlan may be 37, but she’s young enough to pass as a 19-year-old on her hit show.
Fans were surprised by the actress, who plays Penelope in the third season of the Netflix series.
They talked about her youthful appearance on X, formerly Twitter, after the season’s first four episodes premiered on May 16.

Coughlan explained that one step she never skips is moisturizing her neck.
Her boss advised her to incorporate the skin care technique into her beauty regimen.
“My boss said, ‘You need to start using eye cream and moisturizing your neck,’” she said.
“And I was like, ‘Okay, girl,’ and I started then, but I was an anomaly among my friends for doing it.”
One trick she’s learned is to apply the cream gently under her eyes with a specific finger, without using too much pressure.
“They also told me you should only put it on with your ring finger,” she explained.
Another critical must-do step, she added, is sunscreen.
Coughlan explained that avoiding the sun for much of his life was key to his youth.
“I think sometimes people are surprised that I look like an old woman,” she joked.
“It is very good.
“Being broke in my early twenties was one of the best things for my skin.
“My friends were going on vacation in the sun and I thought, ‘I’m not going on vacation because I don’t have any money,’” she said with a laugh.
“It’s not worth getting a tan, it’s not worth it.”
