The beauty and fashion influencer said: “If you like getting your nails done all the time, I’m about to save you a lot of time and money.”

She revealed that she would get acrylic nails done every month at the salon, but they soon went from £40 a set to almost £70, which was a lot of money.

“I reject that price,” Lauren continued.

“Also, the manicurist I went to cut the side of my finger almost every time, and I just didn’t enjoy that experience.”

But the beauty fan decided to buy nail presses on Amazon, with prices ranging from £6 to £20 for each.

Once again, Lauren wanted to save even more money, so she headed over to Shein to check out the selection which she quickly ordered.

But Lauren was shocked when she opened the package and saw it was the exact same brand she was buying on Amazon for a fraction of the price.

She added: “I ordered a bunch from Shein which cost about £2.50.

“Imagine my shock when the same mark appears.”

Lauren also recommended a specific nail glue to ensure your press-ons stay in place for at least three weeks.

O Antegu Super Glue for Nails It can be purchased from Amazon and comes in a pack of five for £4.49.

The clip posted to his TikTok account @laurensarahlife It has since gone viral with over 148,000 views and over 8,000 likes.

People were quick to thank Lauren for her recommendation in the comments.

Best Beauty Dupes

Fabulous beauty editor Tara Ledden revealed the cheapest version of her favorite beauty products you should have in your closet.

“A whopping 55% of us would like to spend less on our beauty routines, according to new research from Elf Cosmetics, so it’s no wonder there are millions of #dupe videos on Tiktok.

“While some dupes are easy to spot due to their packaging appearance, they are often lacking when it comes to content.

“In fact, some of the best idiots look nothing like the luxury product they are held up for – and, believe me, they are the ones you want.”

REAL: Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer£32.50 TO DECEIVE: Natural Collection Bronzer£3.50, which is a saving of £29. The Natural Collection Bronzer comes in more shades, although there is no mirror on the compact.

REAL: Hydro-Grip Primer for Milk Makeup, £35 TO DECEIVE: Elf Power Grip Primer£10. These two share a similar green hue, as well as the same mattifying and long-wearing properties – although Elf’s is so popular it’s equally hard to find.

REAL: Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick£28 TO DECEIVE: L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Satin Lipstick Beige Nude, £8.99. The shades of these two lipsticks are practically identical on the lips, although while Charlotte Tilbury’s is matte, the L’Oreal Paris lipstick has a satin finish – which actually makes it more comfortable if you wear it all day.

REAL: Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation£40 TO DECEIVE: Lasting Perfection Matte Foundation Collection, £6.99. While they don’t look the same on the outside, the formula, consistency, and staying power of both foundations are quite similar — unfortunately, the collection only comes in 20 shades versus Estée Lauder’s 60 options.

REAL: Brighter boy eyebrows£20 TO DECEIVE: Essence Make Me Brow Gel, £2.50. There’s an entire Reddit thread dedicated to this idiot, so you know it must be good. Both have a waxy consistency and added fibers to make your brows look fuller. I have to say the shade range is much better with Boy Brow, but if you’re a brunette there are plenty of Essence shade options to try.

“Yes I will do that okaayyyy,” wrote a third.

Meanwhile, a fourth said: “Primark too! I bought some for £1.30 yesterday!”

Another person added: “I’ve been doing this since lockdown… Never going back haha. I really like kissing nails, but Shein nails are also very good.”
