And she is often mistaken for being decades younger than her real age.

In a video she shared with her 54.1 thousand followers on InstagramMelissa revealed her step-by-step guide for a Saturday morning.

She talked about how she uses the derma roller, which is “gentle”, and revealed the products she applied to her face afterwards.

She said she has used the products “for decades and trusts them.”

She introduced her “morning skincare routine for a Saturday” and explained how she does it “a little differently” than other days of the week.

Melissa silenced any doubters who might suggest she had help from Botox or fillers to make her skin beautiful, saying: “There is nothing wrong with that, but I have made the decision not to have Botox, fillers or any type of surgery.

“But there’s nothing wrong with that, it’s just my personal choice,” she added.

Instead, she likes to “use strong products” to “fight” wrinkles.

“So the first thing I do is take my towel and wash my face – I get the foam [wash] take it off and make an upward movement with the cloth”, she said.

Melissa explained how the towel she uses was knitted by herself.

“And then on Saturday mornings I added derma roll [to my skincare routine],” she explained.

“I have these wrinkles up here,” she commented, zooming in on her forehead.

“So I’m going to derma roll here [forehead] and I have wrinkles here, above my lip.

“After that, I will apply a vitamin C serum.”

The exact vitamin C serum she said she uses is from a brand called Obagi Medical, and it’s the Professional-C Serum 20%.

But it comes with a hefty price tag of £72.

If you are new to vitamin C, there are several affordable products on the market that you can try first.

For example, The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 30ml costs just £7.70.

What do the experts say?

Can you use vitamin C before or after derma roll? According to Face Med Storeit can be “difficult for the skin to absorb”.

Instead, they suggest: “The effects become much more beneficial by simply taking the serum sooner – preferably a month before you start using the derma roller regularly.

“This is because vitamin C helps with collagen production and makes the skin more resistant to sun exposure, key factors in helping to improve the results of your derma roll.

Vitamin C serums aren’t the only product that can do this: Vitamin A serums can also help, as they stimulate cell growth.

“Combining these two serums can make the results of the derma roller much more effective, with your skin already prepared to recover and rebuild after using the derma roller.”

After applying the vitamin C serum, Melissa said she uses a “mild acid.”

At the time of posting the video online, Melissa was 68 years old – but still people couldn’t believe her age.

One commented: “Unbelievable that you are 68!! You look great! I simply adore you.

Another commented: “You, my dear, are a freak of nature. In the good sense! You look 25 years younger than your biological age. Inspiring.”

Someone else said: “There’s no way you’re 68, WOW.”

While one person argued: “You look 40!!!!”

Best Beauty Dupes

Fabulous beauty editor Tara Ledden revealed the cheapest version of her favorite beauty products you should have in your closet.

“A whopping 55% of us would like to spend less on our beauty routines, according to new research from Elf Cosmetics, so it’s no wonder there are millions of #dupe videos on Tiktok.

“While some dupes are easy to spot due to their packaging appearance, they are often lacking when it comes to content.

“In fact, some of the best idiots look nothing like the luxury product they are held up for – and, believe me, they are the ones you want.”

REAL: Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer£32.50 TO DECEIVE: Natural Collection Bronzer£3.50, which is a saving of £29. The Natural Collection Bronzer comes in more shades, although there is no mirror on the compact.

REAL: Hydro-Grip Primer for Milk Makeup, £35 TO DECEIVE: Elf Power Grip Primer£10. These two share a similar green hue, as well as the same mattifying and long-wearing properties – although Elf’s is so popular it’s equally hard to find.

REAL: Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick£28 TO DECEIVE: L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Satin Lipstick Beige Nude, £8.99. The shades of these two lipsticks are practically identical on the lips, although while Charlotte Tilbury’s is matte, the L’Oreal Paris Lipstick has a satin finish – which actually makes it more comfortable if you wear it all day.

REAL: Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation£40 TO DECEIVE: Lasting Perfection Matte Foundation Collection, £6.99. While they don’t look the same on the outside, the formula, consistency, and staying power of both foundations are quite similar — unfortunately, the collection only comes in 20 shades versus Estée Lauder’s 60 options.

REAL: Brighter boy eyebrows£20 TO DECEIVE: Essence Make Me Brow Gel, £2.50. There’s an entire Reddit thread dedicated to this idiot, so you know it must be good. Both have a waxy consistency and added fibers to make your brows look fuller. I have to say the shade range is much better with Boy Brow, but if you’re a brunette there are plenty of Essence shade options to try.
