A BEAUTY fan shared the makeup removal trick that nourishes your lashes.

The trick worked so well that they had to cut their eyelashes because they grew too long.

Editor Corvus25 shared the hair growth tip in a viral post.

They explained that their cleansing skincare routine also worked as a trick for their lashes.

“Remove your makeup with castor oil every night,” they said.

“Holy man, ever since I started doing this, my lashes have been so full and luscious.”

After repeated use of castor oil, they noticed dramatic results.

“I’ve been doing this for about 2 years. I actually had to cut my eyelashes because if I didn’t, they would hit my safety glasses,” they said.

Other beauty fans raved about the benefits of oils on lashes.

“I use a blend of argan, jojoba, castor, grapeseed, and sweet almond oils for my lashes,” said one commenter.

“If you end up buying castor oil, make sure it is unrefined,” they advised.

“The refined material loses all the benefits.”

Eyelash specialists in FarmEasy explained that castor oil, thanks to its dense fatty acid content, is great for nourishing and conditioning lashes.

“It’s packed with fatty acids such as ricinoleic, oleic, linoleic and stearic acids,” says Dr. Nikita Toshi.

Choosing the right type of castor oil is crucial as there are many different types available on the market.

Cold-pressed castor oil is prepared with very little heat, which keeps its natural nutrients intact.

Other great castor oil options include Jamaican Black castor oil, which has a higher pH level, suitable for hair and scalp.

Organic castor oil is another great choice as it is free of fertilizers and pesticides and is safer to use on skin and hair.
