Tracy Campoli is a wellness coach and founder of the Total Body Transformation fitness plan.

She has over 251,000 subscribers on YouTubewhere she shares her love of exercise, fashion, and life in Miami.

She was often mistaken for being up to a decade younger than her age.

Speaking to The US Sun, she revealed how she continues to defy the signs of aging at 49.

BEGINNER BEAUTY

Campoli said her skin was “pretty good” growing up, but there was a period when she had to use prescription acne products.

She consulted magazines like Mademoiselle and Vogue for beauty advice.

She was just 18 years old when she started using anti-aging cosmetics available in pharmacies.

“I was a huge fan of Neutrogena,” she said.

“That was my budget at the time and I lived in an area where there was no Sephora or anything like that.

“I grew up in a small town in Massachusetts, and without the internet, magazines were everything to me.

“I was really into fashion and skincare.

“I was a child, so I didn’t have money to invest in things, nor access. It’s really a different game now.”

SKIN CORRECTION

Campoli moved to New York at age 20, when he began spending his earnings on sunscreen and Botox.

In her 30s, she also tried chemical peels.

She said she is “frowny”, has always had 11 lines and needs Botox up to three times a year.

She now lives in sunny Miami, where her sun protection habit comes in handy.

I try to take a good Epsom salt bath at least a few times a week.

“I wash my face with La Roche Posay Toleriane,” she said.

“If I have makeup on, I will double cleanse with an oil cleanser and then use hyaluronic acid.

“Then there is a serum I have been using for years called Herbal Face Food and it is very rich.

“It’s loaded with antioxidants and 100% botanicals, which is what I like about it.”

She also uses Supergoop Unseen sunscreen every day, mixing it with tanning drops.

Her nighttime beauty routine focuses on relaxing while her daughter is sleeping.

“I try to take a good Epsom salt bath at least a few times a week,” she said.

“It’s good for hormones and stress relief and I think it helps your skin because you’re sweating. I use tons of Epsom salt.”

I remember when I was 25 and I was like, I’m getting old. If I could hug that little girl, it was because I wasn’t happy.

She joked about using two cups instead of Jessica Biel’s 20-pound mineral bath.

After taking off your makeup, it also hydrates your body.

MAKEUP MUST-HAVES

Campoli maintains a “fresher” look with minimal makeup and was inspired by old photos to stop using eyelash extensions.

They cast shadows over her eyes, which she thought aged her a little.

“I used to wear medium coverage foundation, and other than that period when I had acne, I’ve always had pretty good skin,” she said.

“I noticed that it looks better and fresher when you actually see your skin.”

She revealed that her makeup collection is mostly made up of “creamier” products that let her natural beauty shine.

She loves highlighter, but keeps eyeshadow to a minimum because a more dramatic approach is now “dated.”

“The way we were taught to do eye makeup in the ’90s was like light, dark, light, and then your eyes start to droop,” she said.

“So you don’t see that darkness.

“You have to change the way you do things, otherwise it just gets lost in front of you.”

Campoli said she also stopped using spray tans because they emphasize creases and look “oompa loompa.”

However, self-tanner can be a subtle alternative.

WISDOM WORDS

Campoli said making an effort with your appearance can boost confidence.

“I don’t like my hair gray, so I dye the roots,” she said.

“I think some women look incredible and beautiful with completely gray hair.

One of the things I love about aging is discovering that you feel more comfortable with who you are.

“I think the most important thing is to be a happy person. This really gives you a more youthful appearance. Just loving your life and being at peace with who you are.

“Move your body, eat healthy foods, think healthy thoughts, and be around healthy people.”

Campoli said older women inspire her because they are “sure” of themselves.

“One of the things I love about aging is finding that you feel more comfortable with who you are,” she said.

“You’re not necessarily trying to look different, you’re just trying to look like the best version of yourself.

“I’m proud of my age.”

“I remember when I was 25 and I was like, I’m getting old,” she continued.

“If I could hug that little girl, it was because I wasn’t happy.

“I knew I wanted different things in my life.”
