What is tretinoin?
Tretinoin is a vitamin A derivative used to treat acne and other skin conditions.
Creams containing the ingredient can be used to combat fine wrinkles, dark spots or rough skin caused by the sun.
Tretinoin works by brightening cells and replacing older skin with younger skin.
It slows down the way the body removes cells that may have been damaged by the sun.
