ABBOTT Elementary actress Quinta Brunson keeps it in the family when it comes to her beauty products.
She revealed that she is a longtime user of several budget-friendly buys, a moisturizer her mother also uses, and an underrated mascara.
Entertainer Quinta Brunson shared her step-by-step beauty routine full of affordable items.
The comedian and writer said she always starts the day with a “very clean face”.
She first uses a milky makeup remover on a cotton pad and then rubs a hot washcloth on her face to steam and remove what’s left.
Next, she said she applies the Olay Vitamin C + Peptide 24 Brightening Serum and then the matching Vitamin C + Peptide 24 Hydrating Moisturizer.

She admitted that Olay Active Moisturizing Cream is a moisturizer that her mother used and that she still uses today.
“It still hits,” she joked in an interview with The NY Times.
Another staple in the television star’s home was Olay Body Wash, which she is a “huge fan of.”
It does the job, I feel clean, it smells good and leaves no residue,” she said.

Her makeup routine is a mix of high-end and drugstore products.
“I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Luminous Foundation because it matches my skin tone, which is important,” she explained.
The actress said she also uses Westman Atelier’s Baby Cheeks Blush, Lit Up highlight, and Eye Pods eyeshadow.
For lips, she fills them in with Westman Atelier’s Mented Lip Liner and Squeaky Clean Liquid Lip Balm.
Quinta added that she loves the Anastasia Perfect Brow Pencil and Pat McGrath Labs Mascara, but had good things to say about a popular drugstore item.
“Maybelline Great Lash doesn’t get enough credit, it still works and it’s very affordable,” she said.
To get it all off her face at the end of the day, she sometimes uses a kitchen staple, olive oil.
Quinta said it was a great tip for removing makeup that she also learned from her mom.
To exfoliate, she said in the interview that she likes to use a brush, especially on her back.
She thinks it’s an area that doesn’t get enough attention.
Lastly, she said she covers her body with Bum Bum Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Body Cream, which “smells so good and is really moisturizing.”
If cream isn’t available, she always has a large jar of African shea butter, a more natural alternative.
Quinta also shared some hair care advice and items that have made a difference to her curly and frizzy texture.
She said she “really can’t live without” the Bread hair oil, and the hair wash and hair mask are “perfect” for her hair type.
The mask also works as a leave-in conditioner and when combined with the hair cream, she said it “really defines” her curls.
