A MAKEUP fan shared a drugstore hair gel that’s better at keeping eyebrow hairs in place than a fancy product.
They explained that a money-saving alternative performed just as well, if not better.
Editor Ugly shared the beauty tip in a viral post.
They revealed that the $6 got2be Ultra Bonded Invincible Styling Gel it was his holy grail for keeping his forehead hair in place.
After a long and tedious journey looking for products that would stop their hair from moving, they finally found a solution.
At first, a fancy, expensive eyebrow gel solved her problems.
“The outer half of my eyebrow hairs basically point downwards and NOTHING worked on them until I found Patrick Ta Brow laminating gel,” they said.
Although the laminating gel cost $27 per unit, they felt it was worth the price.
“Literally everything else I’ve ever tried lasted maybe an hour tops, but Patrick Ta held them all day so I happily shelled out the money [money],” they said.
A big disadvantage, however, was the product’s duration.

“It always dried out too much before I could finish the tube, so $27 for significantly less than 5 milliliters,” they said.
After looking for a more affordable alternative, they found got2be hair gel.
Although the product is intended for use on hair and not eyebrows, they praised its strength on eyebrows.
“I don’t even remember why I tried that hair gel on my eyebrows, but holy shit,” they said.
“Five dollars for six ounces and it seemed to work as well as the [expensive] things, maybe even a little better”, they said.
“I couldn’t believe it, so for a few days I did an experiment – Patrick Ta on one eyebrow and got2be hair gel on the other.
“They stayed tied up until the day I forgot to take off my makeup before bed.”
They were shocked when they woke up in the morning and discovered that only one side had survived the night perfectly.
“The got2be brow was still perfectly in place the next morning. The other brow was still looking pretty good, but the winner was clear.”
Even better, the size of the product allowed them to share the wealth.
“I used a big animal syringe to fill up a bunch of empty mascara tubes/wands and gave them out like candy to my mom, sisters, and best friend,” they said.
“They are all obsessed with it and now I am expected to bring more of them at regular intervals.”
