A woman with bushy eyebrows has shared her no-fuss technique that keeps her brows thick and healthy.
Her annual reset method keeps hair in place for a beautiful, clean look that she says resembles a bonsai tree.
Reddit user CosmeLuna admitted that she has “very thick, dark eyebrows.”
She shared in a publish that she considers them “like a bonsai tree”.
Bonsai trees can usually be left alone to grow naturally and just need to be kept healthy.
Once or twice a year, she lets her bushy eyebrows “grow out completely.”
The goal is to redefine the shape and avoid excessive tearing.
Then, when the time comes, she tweezes her eyebrows to get their shape back.
“One thing COVID has made simpler is finding a window where your face bushes can run free,” the original poster joked.
She shared the step-by-step process to bring them back to their original appearance.

“I follow the flow of my brow’s natural arch, tweezing at the bottom near the arch and at the top near the center/nose,” she explained.
Then, she plucks out all the various nuisance hairs in the area.
In the penultimate step, she said she takes an eyebrow brush and spreads all the hairs upwards, or in the natural direction they want.
Lastly, she trims them along the edge of the brow so they stay together.
If done correctly, she said this cuts “any long hair that wants to be randomly curled or spiked.”
“It also creates a nice, clean look,” she added.
The Reddit user also shared a quick maintenance trick for girls on the go.
“In a hurry, I will use a razor to keep the fine hairs at bay,” she said.
About once a week, she said she tweezes “specific hairs” that grow back faster than others.
She said these are the ones that are “particularly close” to the “edit lines.”
The Reddit user said she has “never loved” any other method because others simply aren’t as accurate.
“If I didn’t know any better, I swear I would think I wrote that. Yes!!!” another Redditor agreed.
“That’s it. Just wanted to put extra emphasis on the part about fully growing them once or twice a year. So important,” added another.
