A MAKEUP fan shared her application method to ensure her eyeliner stays put all day, despite the weather.

She detailed her eyeliner trick that makes it sweat-proof even on hot summer days.

Reddit user JackpotDeluxe shared a “random liquid eyeliner hack” she discovered.

She explained in publish which is perfect for the summer to keep the liner in place, especially when you’re sweating.

She first applies eye primer to her upper lid.

Then, she applies a translucent powder to absorb any remaining oil or moisture.

She uses the Etude House Tallow Dipping Powderwhich is currently on sale for $6 on the website.

According to the product description, the goal is to quickly absorb oil to create matte skin.

After applying powder, she gently applies the eyeliner and waits for it to dry completely.

In the fourth and final step, she covers with the same translucent powder she used originally.

The Reddit user called his technique “totally sweatproof.”

“I was sweating like a pig, but it lasted perfectly even more than ten hours later,” she said.

Several Redditors appreciated the beauty advice.

“Haha, good tip! I don’t know if this is bad, but I usually use translucent powder after primer because of the heat/humidity,” commented one of them.

“I do this when I’m done, but my particular foundation doesn’t sit well on top of the powder,” she added.

She learned the hard way and now she just dusts it off afterwards.

When it comes to foundation and powder, the Redditor said that “everyone’s skin demands different things” at different times.

“There are a lot of different formulas and when there are so many formulas, there are going to be some that don’t match,” she said.
