A PERFUME addict has revealed how she keeps her body smelling fresh all day.

She said her fragrance hack only requires a $3 purchase in addition to her usual perfume.

Sasha (@sasha.mints) filmed himself demonstrating the tip in a viral video on TikTok.

She started in the kitchen, boiling some water on the stove.

She promised that even though many people don’t know the trick, she believes in it.

Sasha took a small container of Vaseline and placed it in the boiling water.

WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS

Sasha instructed users to “liquefy” the Vaseline using the boiling water method.

A mini vaseline like the one she used can be purchased at Target for $2.29.

She sprayed her favorite perfume into the softened tube of Vaseline.

Then she mixed it, closed the container and put it in the fridge for two hours to harden.

Once the mixture solidified again, it was ready to be put to good use.

She applied it to the pulse points on her wrist, raising her thumb to the camera.

Beauty fans are rushing to Aldi to score ‘gorgeous’ perfumes – they’re just £5.99 and the Dior copy will save you £131

WHY IT WORKS

The trick works by keeping the fragrance in place using a stronger agent, like petroleum jelly.

This leads to a longer lasting scent, as many fragrances tend not to last long.

Sasha herself described the hack as out of this world.

“It works wonders,” she said.

PUBLIC OPINION

Several TikTokers expressed their opinions in the comments section of the viral video.

“I buy the simple mini Vaseline ones in the lip section to do this. Mini travel size for my purse,” wrote one.

“This was a thing you did in the 90s, according to Cosmo, or mixing eyeshadow with Vaseline for ‘cool’ lip colors,” another added.

“Why do this instead of putting the perfume directly on your skin?” a third asked.

She placed a small pot of Vaseline in a large pot of boiling water to soften it.

“It won’t last as long as if mixed with Vaseline,” Sasha replied.

“I do this with Vaseline, which already has a gel consistency. No need to liquidize. Just add perfume and shake,” wrote another.

“I have to try this,” said another. “Awesome idea. Thank you.”

She sprayed her favorite perfume on the Vaseline before refrigerating it and applying it to her pulse points.
