A BRIDE doing her own wedding makeup has shared the tips she used to look flawless on her big day.
She revealed her “Holy Grail” eyeshadow routine that keeps creases at bay for more than eight hours.
Editor Bexxs shared her makeup tips in a viral post.
“[I] I wanted to share my holy grail, crease-free eyeshadow routine!” she said.
“I tested this literally weeks ago and after 8 to 10 hours of use, I don’t have any creases.”
The bride explained that she first prepped her eyelids with Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer to ensure it adhered to the other products.
She added that the trick is to apply the product in a “super thin layer” with your fingers.
She followed the primer with her concealer of choice.
The technique that worked for her was patting on the concealer with a damp beauty sponge.
To set the base of the eyeshadow, she used Airspun Loose Face Powder.

For the look itself, the bride explained that she opted for glitter to highlight her eyes.
“Although this product is a little older, I will also be using the Stila Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow in the shade Diamond Dust,” she said.
“The glitter liquid eyeshadow is super easy to use and makes a huge difference with minimal effort!”
To accentuate her eyes even more, she added false eyelashes.
“For comfortable, natural-looking lashes, try applying 2 to 3 individual Kiss lashes to the outer corner of your eye, under your natural lashes (trust me, it works!),” she said.
“I recently started doing this and it feels SO much more natural.
“I forget I have them on until I take my makeup off at the end of the night.”
Other savvy makeup fans shared their tips for making your look last as long as possible.
One of them relied on a setting spray that set her products.
“Ben Nye Final Seal setting spray is a game changer,” she said.
“I live in a very hot/humid climate and my makeup lasts forever when I use it.
“I also love the Urban Decay primer (not the spray).”
