A Reddit user took to the social media platform to share some hair growth recommendations that transformed her locks from limp to luscious.

She explained in a publish the four “simple” things she did in the Indian Skincare Addicts online community.

She showed before and after images of what her hairline looked like after integrating them.

“As evident in the previous photo, my hair was betraying me,” she wrote.

After getting good results, she “feels confident” about recommending them to others.

She first applied rosemary essential oil and grape seed carrier oil to her scalp once or twice a week, from Amazon.

The hair care fan joked that it was always the one she remembered to do because “her discipline is non-existent.”

The growth didn’t happen overnight and she didn’t think it was “some placebo.”

“It took months and I am also getting the desired results,” she added.

There is a specific method to wash it, and she shared her wash day routine in another post.

Another trick that helped her “a lot” was fixing her sleep.

She recommended the first five episodes of The Huberman Lab podcast that covered the science of sleep.

I transformed my short hair into long, luscious locks in less than a year thanks to the £8 hair-thickening trick my grandmother trusted

The Reddit user explained that “sleep is restorative.”

“I didn’t take any supplements and just limited myself to the behavioral changes explained in the podcast,” he added.

The next important part on the list was healthy modifications to your diet.

She increased her intake of proteins, nuts, almonds, seeds and vegetables.

As a vegetarian, she already “ate well” and stayed hydrated, so these were the only additions she made to her well-being.

The last factor on her list was stress management.

“Where should I start? I’m still learning this skill honestly,” she admitted in the post.

“Stress definitely causes hair loss in me, as it does in many other people.”

Ultimately, she explained that you should “do what works for you.”

The health of your hair is related to how well you take care of your mind and body.

Sleeping well also plays an important role in learning, emotional processing, and stress management.

“I have to say that the rosemary and increasing my protein also helped me get hair growth during lockdown, but my sleep cycle was very disrupted. Thanks for recommending the podcast, I’ll definitely check it out,” commented a Reddit user.
