The CEO of a skin care company revealed details on how to keep your skin youthful and firm.
However, he said that one part of the body tends to age faster than the others, but he gave a tip to turn back time.
Nayan Patel is a pharmacist, wellness expert and CEO of Auro Wellness.
He listed anti-aging tips that are often overlooked.
Dr. Patel also covered hacks for common problems like under-eye bags.
He also detailed how to get to the root of any skin care problem.
SKIN AND SUN
Dr. Patel said keeping skin protected from free radical damage is crucial.
“Antioxidant support is essential to help rejuvenate and protect the skin,” he told The US Sun.
“Our skin is constantly bombarded with free radicals which lead to oxidative stress in the skin, so ensuring antioxidants are present to quench all free radicals ensures the skin stays balanced.
“Adaptogens are fundamental because they work with the body and ‘adapt’ to the skin’s needs.

“They provide anti-inflammatory properties, stress reduction, improved skin barrier, antioxidant support and more for the skin.”
Adaptogens, such as ashwagandha, are herbal remedies to help the human body deal with stressors.
DR. PATEL’S ROUTINE
The skincare expert shared three tips he follows for his own skin.
“Consuming water is the best and only way to truly hydrate your skin,” he said.
“[Use a] neutral soap to clean, so as not to strip the skin of its natural oils.
“[Eat a] essential fatty acid diet – our skin is made of lipids, so fatty acids are essential for nourishing skin cells.”
He addressed some common concerns he hears about skin elasticity.
“When looking at common skin problems, I always look for what the causes of concern are,” he said.
“For example, when eye bags are a cause for concern – they are often caused by induced stress, lack of sleep and poor diet.
“Work on correcting these habits into your lifestyle habits such as mediation, getting a good night’s sleep, and also providing your body with healthier ingredients topically and internally.”
He also noticed a part of the body that tends to get neglected in skin care.
“We often forget that, just like our face, our hands are exposed to many free radicals on a daily basis, from UV exposure to the toxins we interact with on a daily basis,” he said.
“At the same time, we don’t protect, nourish and support our hands as much as our face and we are often surprised that our hands age faster.
“Ensuring there is a balance between free radicals and antioxidant support is critical.”
Auro Skincare provides adaptogens and antioxidants to follow Dr. Patels protocol.
