A beauty fan has revealed the trick she uses to give her eyes a polished look.
Commenting on a Reddit publishuser Echoabyss explained her preferred makeup technique.
She explained that she changes the placement of her eyeliner to give the illusion of more volume in her lashes.
“Tightlining! AKA using a waterproof pencil to line your upper lash line,” the poster read.
“Subtle but a big difference in making my lashes look thicker and my eyes overall look more polished and natural.”
Maybelline referred to tightlining as the “thin, cool-colored line drawn right on the inner waterline of the eyes.”
The Redditor explained that the method doesn’t “feel noticeably weird.
However, she stressed that the restriction may not be suitable for everyone.
“If you wear contact lenses, you may experience some irritation if you wear them,” she warned.

“I don’t have sensitive eyes from wearing eye makeup for 20 years, so it doesn’t feel like anything to me.
“I have friends whose eyes water if I lift an eyeliner in their direction.”
The poster revealed that the product can be easily removed with micellar water.
She recommended using a cotton swab to reach the corners of your eyes.
She shared her top eyeliner recommendations.
“If you want to try it, Urban Decay’s pencil liner is great, as is KVD’s pencil liner,” she said.
