IF you’re up for the challenge of a “rough” shave, you can “sayonara” for strawberry legs this summer.
One Redditor thinks his trick is worth following for silky-smooth results.
Editor Raspberriesamojito1 is willing to do anything to get rid of the redness on her legs.
Be warned, it is not for the faint of heart.
“Take a towel, a rough little piece of towel and you will rub it like your life depends on it with any body wash for at least a minute or so,” she said.
“Then use shaving cream or hair conditioner to shave, and as I’m doing this, my strawberry legs are gone, try it!” she continued.
This shaving sergeant wants to make extra sure you’re following his “strict” rules.
‘Basically you have to really exfoliate your skin before shaving and it will be soft and silky, I promise!’ she said.
If you want help with this shaving technique, you can invest in a Terra Distribution Extra Rough Exfoliating Towel which is available on Amazon for $13.95.
The towel is described as having a “super hard” texture.

Made from strong fibers, you’ll be able to scrub as hard as you can.
An extra thorough wash after exercise is also recommended.
The cloth creates extra lather – perfect for your hair conditioner or shaving cream.
Others shared their own life-saving shaving tips.
“I wait a few days between shaving. Even though his hair looks semi-long – gross, I know,” said one user.
“I use exfoliating gloves with Soft Soap Luminous Oils body wash – so cheap and amazing. I’ve tried a million different high-quality, drugstore body washes and I always come back to this one.
“Then I grab a new razor and use this Moroccan rose shaving oil to shave. It leaves my skin super soft! Use moisturizer and body oil when you get out of the shower.”
“I actually get great results with Dove. I think the most important thing is to get a soap with the right ingredients for you,” said another.
Some Redditors also weighed in on the best types of razors to use.
“Men’s razors! I stole one of my husband’s Mach5 Gillette razors a few years ago and I just change the head every month and will never go back to using a women’s razor!” said one user.
“Me too! I can now get the big packs at Costco and they last a year or more,” added another.
“Same. Women’s razors are like more expensive toy razors. They’re like Fisher Price razors haha,” one Redditor commented.
