POWERFUL PRODUCTS

She spoke openly about how she came up with the idea when revealing the product she uses for it.

“I’m embarrassed by how long it took me to figure out that I can mix my sunscreen and foundation to get a sheer look,” she said, writing under the handle Nutlina.

“Sunscreen shades have always been a little orange or just ‘off’ on my skin tone.

“The funny thing is that I’ve done this with moisturizer, but for some reason I never thought about alternating it with sunscreen.

“So far I’ve only tried using Biore Aqua as a base, but I’m curious to see if it works with others.”

Biore UV Aqua Rich SPF 30 is available on Amazon for $14.99.

It was formulated with hyaluronic acid to keep the skin hydrated for up to eight hours while protecting it from UV rays.

The Redditor revealed how she used the product in her makeup routine to achieve her desired look.

“Method: I first applied a normal amount of sunscreen and let it dry, then I put a little more on my palm and mixed in a drop of foundation,” she said.

“Then I added a little more foundation in some spots to hide it.

“I’m shocked at how the texture and color turned out! So, ready for summer.

MAKEUP MANIA

Although she didn’t reveal which foundation she used, beauty fans were amazed by the hack and eager to try it for themselves.

“Thank you so much for this! I will try today.”

“Good idea!” another said. “I also love how you use a normal amount of sunscreen before applying the sunscreen/foundation combo.

“The perfect way to ensure you’re not cutting your FPS in half.”

“I mix tinted sunscreen with white sunscreen until I get a shade I like,” added a third.

“There are also tanning drops. I have the same problem with pre-tinted sunscreens that look too orange, but honestly, mixing them with white is perfect for me.

New York-based dermatologist Dr. Lian Mack shared his take on the trend of mixing sunscreen with other beauty products.

He said Maquiagem.com It’s best to apply a layer of sunscreen before your moisturizer or makeup, rather than mixing them together.

“Mixing the two can alter the properties of SPF, making it less effective,” he said.
