I have dark circles under my eyes – my concealer covers it like a boss, I would hunt every unit on Earth if they were discontinued

A beauty fan has found a way to make pesky dark circles a thing of the past.

She said her specific makeup technique works “like a boss.”

Editor Maritime Library9139 explained that her dark circles are hereditary.

“People who don’t have them can’t understand that dark circles often can’t be ‘fixed’, it’s in the pigment in our skin,” she said.

“I accept that nothing short of a professional makeup artist living with me will cosmetically erase my circles by 100% as a home consumer.”

She added that despite the setback, she still finds a way to make it work.

HOW IS IT DONE

She said she uses a Holy Grail product, but it has to be right.

“I first use an orange concealer, on the inner corners of the dark circles, and smooth it out. Mine is Catrice Camouflage, but there are other brands,” she said.

She said that when it comes to color corrector, she isn’t as brand loyal as she is with concealer.

“You can choose darker or lighter oranges depending on your skin tone. Orange neutralizes blue,” she said.

“Then I use MAC Pro Longwear Concealer on top,” she said.

“Not the ones in the tube with wands, it has to be Pro Longwear with that stupid messy shoe,” she added.

She acknowledged that the price may not be in everyone’s budget.

“I know you prefer drugstore prices and I understand, but for the cost of a few useless tubes of junk, it’s worth every penny and lasts a long time,” she said.

“It’s very thin and light, but it covers like a bump. Then I let it dry after cleaning out the creases.

“I use a quick blast with a hot hairdryer.

“Then I apply, with a velvet sponge, a light layer of Rimmel pressed powder, but any fine powder applied with a light hand works.”

She said her routine came after long-term trial and error.

“I tried every concealer out there. I have a huge collection,” she added.

“And I decided that I wasted enough of my hard-earned money on concealers that others say are great, which they sure are, but not to the level I want.

“I will always go back to MAC Pro Longwear forever and if it is ever discontinued, I will buy every remaining unit on planet Earth that I can find.”
