BEAUTY BASICS

The woman listed everything that worked wonders for her “difficult, combination, sensitive and acne-prone skin.”

“If you can afford it, get a chemical peel once or twice a year,” she said, writing under the handle Pompeii-misandra.

“Find out what your skin likes, develop a routine around it, and do it religiously.

“Sunscreen. Also sunglasses. Postpone crow’s feet and cataract surgery as long as you can.

“Moisturize more than you think you need.”

She warned that it is essential not to skip your neck when applying skin products.

“No matter how beautiful your face is, a sagging, wrinkled neck will give away your age,” she said.

The woman confessed that she thought LED therapy was a “gimmick” until she read research that suggested it could help treat acne.

According to Medical News TodayRed light therapy improves overall skin health while affecting sebum production and reducing inflammation.

It may also be beneficial for wound healing by increasing collagen production and decreasing wrinkles.

The beauty enthusiast revealed that her makeup routine has also been updated with age.

“Mix your foundation with a little moisturizer or polyglutamic acid serum to keep your face hydrated all day and give your foundation a healthy, glowing finish,” she said.

“Cream blush has become my go-to as I’ve gotten older. I don’t know [I don’t know] If this is universal for everyone, but I can’t live without cream blush.”

The final tip on her list surprisingly didn’t require budgeting for an expensive product or treatment.

“Self-confidence is the biggest tool in your beauty arsenal,” she said.
