SKIN CARE can be frustrating as beauty lovers spend a small fortune on items with often lackluster results.

A woman claims to have found the ultimate trick to perfect skin and says she has no wrinkles – despite being 43 years old.

If you’re having trouble with your skin, take a tip from Zoë Foster Blake.

Having founded Go To Skincare, the Australian author and influencer knows a thing or two about beauty – with thousands of people following her advice on Instagram.

In fact, the 43-year-old claims to have completely transformed her skin and even her beautician was shocked by the results.

Talking to the You beauty podcast, she even recalled her beautician’s response and told the host: “She said, ‘At the end of the summer you usually arrive with a lot of pigmentation, but don’t you have it?’.”

According to the beauty expert, this is because she has finally ‘nailed’ what her face needs: skin cycling.

She added enthusiastically: “It’s all about ‘skin cycling’. I know everyone is talking about cycling and it’s nothing new, but I hadn’t really done it and now I’m a devotee.”

You’ve probably heard of this beauty trend as it went super viral on TikTok a few years ago, with almost every influencer jumping on the skincare hack.

For those who are confused by complex routines, this just means changing the active ingredients you use.

Say you use retinol almost every night, this trick would involve swapping it for a chemical exfoliant, like BHAs, to next night and then hyaluronic acid.

Then you go back to retinol before repeating the cycle (see what they did there?).

Not only will this save you a small fortune since you use less product every night, but it will also help your skin age better since you don’t overapply products.

“It’s not a rocket Sciencealthough it may seem confusing to someone who isn’t aware of it,” Zoë explained, adding that she will use SPF and vitamin C most mornings.

Now, the skin expert is encouraging everyone to follow a similar skin care routine that has seen what she calls “tremendous and amazing results.”

For those who are still not convinced, you can also customize your routine according to your skin type.

Those with drier skin, for example, will need to add more moisturizing ingredients.

This can be as simple as applying hyaluronic acid with a skin-friendly moisturizer to ensure your skin stays hydrated overnight.

Meanwhile, those with oily skin will want to use products like salicylic acid as well as charcoal masks to help combat any blemishes.

The possibilities are endless, but try to find a skin cycle that works for your skin and your routine.

Zoë added: “I don’t think the morning is the time to overcomplicate things, especially if you have children. You need to get out the door and work and all that stuff. “

We couldn’t agree more.
