A 35-year-old woman says she is always mistaken for a 12-year-old thanks to a £3.99 hack.

Krystn Walmsley revealed that every time she talks about her wrinkle-eliminating trick she gets criticized for being a kid talking about wrinkles.

“The irony is I’m 35,” she said in a TikTok video.

“And no, it’s not Botox.”

In a second video, Krystn explained that her youthful complexion is due to silicone scar sheets.

She said they were designed to promote collagen production and added that she has been using them to cover her face.

Collagen helps give structure and elasticity to the skin, thus helping to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Krystn explains that she applies the tape to her face after doing her nighttime skin care routine.

She added that as part of her skin care routine, she applies castor oil under her eyes, which is an antioxidant, which can help reduce the aging process.

Krystn explained that she relaxes her forehead muscles and then places a sheet of tape horizontally across her forehead.

“You’re trying to keep the muscles from contracting, retrain them so they don’t get used to it as often,” she said.

She added that she puts tape above her mouth to avoid smile lines, and between her eyebrows to avoid 11 lines.

Krystn said you can also tape your neck to prevent ‘tech neck,’ although she hasn’t tried that yet.

She said she uses the tape three to five times a week and keeps it on all night.

Silicone scar sheets can be purchased for just £3.98 on Amazon.

The importance of sunscreen in your skin care routine

Dermatologist and skincare enthusiast Andrea Suarez – known as Dray – revealed why you should wear sunscreen.

The one thing you can do that will make the biggest difference – and this is important for all ages – is to protect your skin from the sun, Andrea emphasized.

“The vast majority of external aging is due to exposure to ultraviolet radiation,” she continued, not because you “aren’t using a jazzy serum or putting 90 different things on your face every day.”

“If you’re not in your 20s, do it now.”

But she said using sunscreen alone isn’t enough. Andrea recommended that you also wear sun-protective clothing, such as wide-brimmed hats and long sleeves, and not spend too much time in the sun.

Doing this throughout your life—and year-round, not just during the summer or on sunny days—”will reduce the visible signs of photoaging,” Andrea said.

These are wrinkles, confused pigmentation and sagging skin.

Krystn’s video probably left a lot of people impressed as it has racked up over 1.3 million views on the video-sharing platform.

TikTok users rushed to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts.

One person said: “I use this to cover my mouth and my lips look really plump.”

Another person said: “I just ordered some.

“My neck is about to be completely covered every night!”

A third person said: “Your skin is amazing!”

A fourth person added: “This information is fantastic, thank you doll for the tips.”
