A DOLLAR Tree customer was surprised to find a serum comparable to a popular drugstore product for just $1.25.

She confessed that she wanted to stock up on the skincare product after being impressed with the results.

She shared a photo of her budget beauty shopping spree on Reddit’s Dollar Tree forum, which has nearly 40,000 members.

SUPER SERUM

The multivitamin facial serum was formulated with vitamins B, C, E and niacinamide.

“I’m not a beauty snob, I have cheap and expensive things in my collection, whatever works, works!” she said, writing under the handle Double Mind121.

“I bought this because, well, it costs $1.25 and why not try it?

“They even have it in a (fancy) glass bottle, but seriously, it’s not bad.”

She raved that the serum is “honestly comparable” to a product sold by Olay.

Amazon’s Olay store sells a Niacinamide 24 + Vitamin E serum for $12.68.

The brand prides itself on making skin look younger in 14 days of consistent use.

Niacinamide is one of two types of vitamin B3, according to Health line.

It can improve skin health and has been used as a treatment for conditions such as acne and rosacea.

I have dupes of Olay, Eos, and Cetaphil at Dollar Tree – but my favorite finds are really insane, they smell exactly the same

Just like in skincare products, niacinamide is readily available as a supplement.

The Redditor said Dollar Tree’s serum is just as effective as Olay’s at a fraction of the price.

“I can’t get over how good this really is,” she said.

FAN FAVORITE

A number of commenters said they had already tried the affordable serum, while others said they would purchase it.

“I love DT Serums!!!! I can’t beat them! They work amazingly for me! one person said.

“Oh my God, I love this stuff,” commented another.

“I find it much easier to apply than some of the more expensive things I buy in other stores and it’s not as thick.”

  • Keep your skin hydrated internally by drinking water and externally with moisturizer.
  • Always use sunscreen, even if you are not in direct sunlight.
  • Use Vitamin C to brighten your skin and don’t forget to apply it to your neck.

“I love this stuff,” added a third. “To be honest, I think it works really well.”

Another commenter said they bought six serums at once because sometimes their local Dollar Tree runs out of stock.

“Damn… I’m going to stock up tomorrow on my trip there,” replied the Redditor who started the conversation.

“I don’t think you’re crazy because I go there practically every day.

“I’ll try all of this!”
