The 41-year-old used the age filter on social media to show people what she thought she would look like when she turned 40.

The filter showed Yvonne with sagging jowls and wrinkles all over her face.

But when she removed the filter it showed a very different reality.

Her natural skin was wrinkle free and had a beautiful youthful glow.

The beauty fan looked decades younger and many viewers agreed – but she revealed it all came down to one product.

She said: “How I thought I would look at 41, thank you tretinoin.”

The amazing skincare product is a type of retinol that works to shed old skin and stimulate new growth of healthy cells.

This speeds up cell turnover, which can help fight acne, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation.

Tretinoin is stronger than retinol and works faster.

But it can also cause more side effects, such as redness, dryness and peeling.

When using tretinoin or retinol for the first time, you should introduce it into your skin care routine slowly, starting twice a week and increasing from there.

Tretinoin is a prescription medication in the UK, so you’ll have to go to your doctor or online dermatologists like Dermatica to get it.

Alternatively, you can use retinol, which can be purchased from Boots or Superdrug.

The clip has since gone viral on her TikTok account @Yvonnekipling with more than 3.9 million views and 435 thousand likes.

What is Retinol?

Retinol is a buzzword in the beauty industry these days…

Retinol is a chemical exfoliant that belongs to the retinoid family, a group of compounds derived from vitamin A.

Promotes the elimination of dead and old skin cells and the production of new, healthy cells. This process helps keep the skin smooth and shiny, improving texture and tone.

By accelerating cell turnover, retinol also helps unclog pores, making it an effective acne treatment.

Regular use of retinol can significantly improve the overall texture and tone of your skin. It can minimize the appearance of pores, smooth rough patches, and even out pigmentation.

Retinol also helps fade dark spots and hyperpigmentation by accelerating the renewal of pigmented cells and promoting the growth of new, evenly pigmented cells.

People quickly took to the comments marveling at her youthful appearance.

One person wrote: “You’re 41?!!!!! You look so much younger!”

Another commented: “41??? wowwwwza.”

“You’re the first person I’ve seen do this trend that actually looks younger than their age,” wrote a third.

Meanwhile, a fourth said: “Girl you look like you’re in your good 20s.”

“You have amazing skin,” said a fifth.

Someone else added: “You look so much younger! I need tretinoin now.”
