Why does tea tree oil help hair grow?
The National Library of Medicine published a study investigating the effectiveness of different ingredients on hair growth.
Examining the use of the substances in guinea pigs with alopecia, experts found that the solution with “minoxidil, diclofenac and tea tree oil was significantly superior to minoxidil alone.”
Minoxidil is often considered the main stimulant for hair growth, but according to the study, it is most effective when used together with tea tree oil.
