A SKINCARE enthusiast is sharing a technique she learned in her 40s that has given her wrinkle-free skin.
She revealed that she swears by a $24 anti-aging purchase that keeps fine lines at bay.
Editor Nakedonmygoat shared the beauty tip in a post.
“I started using facial oils when I was 40. I started with a sample of argan oil that came in a subscription box,” she said.
“I had a dry spot on my face that wouldn’t go away and the oil cleared it up immediately.”
She quickly realized that facial oils were the right choice and researched high-quality but affordable options, opting for $24 Shea Terra Organics 100% Pure Extra Virgin Egyptian Pomegranate Oil.
“I started looking around. I discovered that Shea Terra Organics is affordable and has a great variety,” she said.
“I’m satisfied with the price and product line. I currently like pomegranate oil.”
She credited the skincare brand with the condition of her skin and vouched for its effectiveness.
“I’m 57 and I don’t have fine lines, so I think that says something about facial oiliness,” she said.

One pitfall, however, is that she has discovered that she must limit use to the skin.
“But I can’t use oil on my hair. Totally wrong texture,” she said.
“I once bought a hair treatment oil from a subscription box, tried it, and it was a complete disaster.
“When I admitted this to a co-worker who had previously been a hairdresser, she had to suppress a laugh.
“She knew my hair was all wrong with oil.”
Your dilemma, however, varies from person to person as everyone has different hair textures.
“We were good work friends so she could admit it to me after she stopped laughing, and sometimes I would ask her for advice, but the hair oil debacle was one where I really should have asked her first,” she added.
Others agreed that they didn’t initially think facial oils were worth it, but have since been converted.
“Ah, I think that just with my face. If you had told me 10 years ago that I would be applying oil to my face, I would have said you were crazy,” said one commenter.
Another revealed that they rely on pure oils to add moisture to their strands.
“If you had told me ten years ago, in my forties, that I would apply oil directly to my hair, I would have laughed,” they said.
“But now it feels essential. For what it’s worth, my hair is good but curly, and it’s gained some thicker bits as I’ve gotten older.”
