My ‘card trick’ makes my mascara stay on perfectly with no mess or smudges – no other tool or technique works as well

A BEAUTY lover has shared how she uses a card trick to make magic when applying mascara.

She swore the tip gave her eyelash batting game a huge boost.

“I learned the mascara trick from an old man [YouTube] video years and years ago, and I still haven’t found another tool or technique that works as well or better,” she said.

She was certainly using her cards for more than gambling.

“The card trick involves using a business card to lift your eyelid while you apply mascara,” she said.

“This allows you to get to the roots and also deposit excess onto the card rather than your eyelid,” she continued.

She also made it clear that it won’t ruin the look of the eyeshadow.

However, you may want to be more careful if you are using another eye product.

“The edge of the card is just above your lash line, so it will mess up your eyeliner if it’s not dry or smudged,” she said.

She acknowledged that those who struggle with oily skin around the eye area may have a “different experience.”

“The shade really suits my skin type for some reason,” she said.

She also wants you to be aware of a possible problem that may occur when using the business card tip.

“This technique really opens your eyes as you do it,” she said.

This means “extra room to accidentally poke your eyeball with the mascara wand.”

She noted that the best way to perfect the method was to “keep practicing.”

It seemed she wasn’t the only one who knew the secret to applying mascara.
