She revealed that a cheap serum hydrates her hair and keeps her mane low.

Editor Unfair_Finger5531 shared the hair care tip in a post.

She explained that instead of throwing away skincare products that don’t work for her, she uses them in her hair.

“I tend to put them aside and try again later. Ninety-nine percent of the time, they are fine the second time,” she said.

“The other 1% I usually put in my hair.”

The money-saving tip, she explained, led to an unexpected hair-care gold mine.

“I found Missha’s red algae essence to be absolutely amazing for my curly hair,” she said.

“I don’t know; some products are fine the second time.”

Others were instantly fooled by his trick and demanded answers, especially since Missha’s Time Revolution Red Algae Treatment Essence is currently on sale for $7.60.

“What?! I’m going to need a lot more explanation about how great Missha is for curly hair,” said one commenter.

“How do you use/apply it? What is it doing to your hair? It’s on sale right now for $7 so I’m intrigued!”

The Redditor urged skincare fans to run, not walk, to get it.

“You better buy it!!! For 7 dollars? That’s a STEAL,” she replied.

She explained that the “unintentional” trick led her to realize that some skincare products worked wonders on her strands.

“I have found that most toners and essences work well on my curly hair,” she said.

“I comb my wet hair in the morning after a shower, and one day I decided to add some toner to my leave-in.”

She was shocked at the difference the aqueous toners made.

‘My hair was so silky and my curls were bouncy! Missha is a very moisturizing product.

To nourish the strands, she simply applied the toner directly.

“I just put it in my hand, run it through wet hair and it keeps it hydrated all day,” she said.

“I told my friend about this and she started doing it too. Laneige Refiner also works well for both of us.

“I think it’s because they’re basically just moisturizers. Additionally, I put Aestura 365 mist on my hair and [my] hair LOVES ceramides. Get that essence!”
