Recently, we’ve seen shoppers go crazy for a lip mask that has taken the world by storm.

The Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask eliminates flaky lips and leaves you with a kiss-worthy pout.

The lip savior has gained cult status on social media and has racked up nearly 500 million views on TikTok alone.

A quick search for purchase will generate thousands of favorable reviews, while content creators pose with the beautiful pink bathtubs.

But if the thought of spending £21 on a pot of lip balm sends shivers down your spine, then fear not, as Home Bargains have you covered.

A savvy shopper was shocked as she browsed the aisles of her local bargains when she spotted the brilliant dumb buy.

Thrilled by her discovery, Lyndsay Northey took to social media to warn others, leaving many speechless.

Posting in Extreme Coupons and Bargains in the UKa private Facebook group with 2.5 million members, the bargain hunter shared a Photograph of her recent purchases – two sleeping lip masks.

Strikingly similar to one of the most popular buys on the market — a K-beauty invention, the viral Lip Sleeping Mask EX, these sleeping lip masks are sure to leave you with soft, luscious lips.

Alongside her post, Lyndsay wrote: “For those who like the Laneige Sleeping Lip Masks, Home Bargains sells them for £1.99 each.

Aldi’s £38 sell-out range for shopping at Olaplex is returning to the middle aisle – and there are new additions too

“These were at Brockhurst Gate, Gosport branch.”

Lyndsay bought both flavors of the new cheap buy – Candy Berries and Strawberry & Lemonade.

While sleeping lip masks are meant to be applied before bed, they can also be used as a daily lip balm.

5 Things You Didn’t Know About Home Bargains

  1. Home Bargains was founded by Tom Morris

Best Beauty Dupes

Fabulous beauty editor Tara Ledden revealed the cheapest version of her favorite beauty products you should have in your closet.

“A whopping 55% of us would like to spend less on our beauty routines, according to new research from Elf Cosmetics, so it’s no wonder there are millions of #dupe videos on Tiktok.

“While some dupes are easy to spot due to their packaging appearance, they are often lacking when it comes to content.

“In fact, some of the best idiots look nothing like the luxury product they are held up for – and, believe me, they are the ones you want.”

REAL: Hoola Matte Bronzer Benefit£32.50 TO DECEIVE: Natural Collection Bronzer£3.50, which is a saving of £29. The Natural Collection Bronzer comes in more shades, although there is no mirror on the compact.

REAL: Hydro-Grip Primer for Milk Makeup, £35 TO DECEIVE: Elf Power Grip Primer£10. These two share a similar green hue, as well as the same mattifying and long-wearing properties – although Elf’s is so popular it’s equally hard to find.

REAL: Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick£28 TO DECEIVE: L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Satin Lipstick Beige Nude, £8.99. The shades of these two lipsticks are practically identical on the lips, although while Charlotte Tilbury’s is matte, the L’Oreal Paris Lipstick has a satin finish – which actually makes it more comfortable if you wear it all day.

REAL: Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation£40 TO DECEIVE: Lasting Perfection matte foundation collection, £6.99. Although they are not similar on the outside, the formula, consistency and staying power of both foundations are quite similar – unfortunately, the collection only comes in 20 shades compared to Estée Lauder’s 60 options.

REAL: Brighter boy eyebrows£20 TO DECEIVE: Essence Make Me Brow Gel, £2.50. There’s an entire Reddit thread dedicated to this idiot, so you know it must be good. Both have a waxy consistency and added fibers to make your brows look fuller. I have to say the shade range is much better with Boy Brow, but if you’re a brunette there are plenty of Essence shade options to try.

A second person mentioned a friend and wrote: “Keep an eye on me please. If you see it, can you get me one of each?

While someone else alerted a savvy shopper and wrote: “If yours has these, get them please.”
