WHEN you feel exhausted or dehydrated, it can be tempting to put a filter on dry, tired skin.

But what if you could get that filtered look IRL?

A medical aesthetics clinic has revealed it is bringing two exciting treatments to Scotland for the first time as part of a major expansion.

The Aesthetics Club now welcomes clients to the newly opened Newton Mearns clinic, which offers a wide range of cutting-edge treatments administered by a specialist team, including two doctors.

Among the aesthetic and skincare treatments on offer are Oxylight and Moxi Laser Treatment – neither of which have previously been offered in Scotland.

The Oxylight machine – which had to be ordered from America – hydrates, tones and tightens the skin, to give a ‘filtered skin’ appearance.

The Aesthetic Club team trained in the US to use the innovative technology, which is currently only offered elsewhere in the UK, at Harrods, The Rosewood and Bulgari hotels in London.

Meanwhile, Moxi, which works as a non-ablative skin resurfacing treatment, will be offered north of the border for the first time.

And skincare fans will also be excited to discover that the clinic will also be flogging Hailey Bieber’s favorite skincare brand.

The Biologique Recerche line is a coveted French skincare brand that uses raw, intentionally pure active ingredients.

Aesthetics Club Founder and Clinical Director, Fiona Ross, is an independent qualified nurse, prescriber and advanced aesthetics trainer.

She said: “We are ecstatic to announce that our latest clinic will be opening on the south side of Glasgow, offering all of our transformative treatments, including two exciting new machines, the BBL Hero & Moxi laser and the Oxylight rejuvenating treatment.

“Our success is a testament to the trust and loyalty of our wonderful customers and the hard work of our dedicated team.

“We are committed to continuing to provide evidence-based treatments and skin care products while providing exceptional service to all of our valued customers.

“We want to raise the bar – this is a largely unregulated industry. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards possible and providing the best treatments possible. The trust we have in our clinics on both sides of the border is proof of this. ”

Before opening The Aesthetics Club, Fiona worked in some of London’s most exclusive aesthetic clinics.

She switched to a career dedicated to raising the bar in the aesthetics industry after working in one of London’s biggest and busiest trauma centers.

The Aesthetics Club currently has two locations: one in Bearsden, East Dunbartonshire, and another clinic in leafy Notting Hill, London.

The expectation is that its team of 19 people will reach 30 by the end of the year.
