WITH beach and pool days in full force, nothing puts a damper on summer swimsuit style like razor bumps.
A smart woman has spilled the details of how she keeps her bikini line smooth.
Editor Put a bird on it shared her process in a comment on the social media platform.
She said that although her technique may seem “insane,” it works.
The two-step method is not only simple, but uses things many already have at home.
Other Redditors also supported her in her post-shave ritual.

She uses a product that people normally apply to other parts of the body.
“I know this sounds crazy, but deodorant,” she said.
She explained that when it comes to clearing the area, she uses the big guns.
“I clean the area with alcohol after shaving and yes, it hurts a lot for a second, but it goes away quickly,” she said.

“Then rub a deodorant stick over the shaved area. No more irritation or swelling.”
She admitted that the hack was not hers, having received advice from an exotic dancer.
She also went into more detail about how to get a smooth bikini line every time.
“First, I exfoliate the area with an exfoliating cloth and my regular body wash,” she said.
She shaves with a brand new razor, using the foam from her body wash instead of traditional shaving cream.
“When I get out of the shower, I dry the area and pour 70% isopropyl alcohol on the shaved area. 70% is more effective than 91% in killing pathogens, which is what we are aiming for,” she said.
“I bought a small spray bottle in the travel aisle, filled it with rubbing alcohol, and sprayed it on the shaved area. It’s easier, in my opinion.”
She uses Dove deodorantwhich sells for $4.66 on Amazon.
Other Redditors gave their opinion on the bikini line approach.
“Really,” wrote one. “Oh my god, her advice literally changed my life haha.”
“I’ll have to try this,” added another. “Now that you say it, I never get armpit bumps after shaving.”
“I really wish I had read this before getting ready today,” said a third. “Good tips for the future, though.”
“You just saved my ass, thank you,” said another.
