BEAUTY fans are rushing to Superdrug for designer makeup reduced to PENNIES.
It’s not often that you can buy an Yves Saint Laurent concealer for just 10 cents – but that’s exactly what happened to one shopper.
Leanne Parker said it was her “best deal ever”.
She took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group to alert other shoppers to her unbelievable find.
She bought the YSL Beauty Touche Éclat Highlighting Pen – which normally retails for £31.
Not only that, but the heart-and-arrow design on the box — which contains the bright yellow sticker confirming the 10-cent price — means she bought a limited-edition pen.
“The Touche Éclat Highlighting Pen instantly helps brighten your best facial features without shine or shine, giving a natural, luminous finish,” said the bosses at YSL Beauty.
“Our light diffusing technology adds light and radiance to the face.
“Apply to areas where there is shade or natural depth to brighten and improve dullness or reduce signs of tiredness.
“It makes your face look more vibrant and healthy.
“Consider this your secret weapon to conquering skin art.”
According to Leanne, it sat proudly on the clearance shelf at her local Superdrug.
Other savvy shoppers dubbed their find “the bargain of the year” and were in complete disbelief at the product’s price.
“I’ll walk to Superdrug tomorrow before work,” one promised.
“Were you just paying for the empty box?” another asked perplexed.
“This is a great discovery.”
How to Save Money on Beauty Product Shopping
IF your purse is tighter than ever and you want to save money on your makeup routine, have you considered trying beauty hacks?
Here are five of the best recommended beauty buys that are nearly identical to the sleek versions, but at a fraction of the price.
FACE BASE: If you can’t afford Charlotte Tilbury’s £52 Magic Cream, why not try a dupe that costs just £5.49 from Superdrug?
TONES: If Drunk Elephant’s £62 Protini moisturizer is out of your price range, you’ll need to check out the new product at Home Bargains.
DYEING: With Fenty’s ‘revolutionary’ skin tint costing an eye-watering £29, an affordable popular supermarket alternative could be just the thing for you.
GET COVERED: At £29 for the Tarte concealer, Primark’s new dupe is much more affordable at just £3.50.
SPRAY YES: For those who want to smell fresh without the price tag, Aldi’s new Prada and Chloe perfumes are a fraction of the price.
Most Superdrug stores have a pink window full of yellow sticker bargains.
When things don’t sell in the clearance area, the staff reduces the price to cents to move it faster.
If you can hunt the clearance racks or display when you’re in the store, you could be the winner of designer makeup down to pennies.
According to the Superdrug website, they also have several Michael Kors perfumes at reduced prices.
