SHOPPING for nappies can be expensive, but you might be able to get a bargain if you head to your local M&S.

While Marks & Spencer is often considered a little more “expensive” than some budget supermarkets, shoppers have discovered a rather tempting offer in stores.

A shopper spotted Pampers 'reduced for sale' at M&S for £1.31

A mum has told how she spotted a pack of Pampers nappies for just £1.31 in a section of the store that might otherwise go unnoticed.

The packages were for Pampers pants and each contained eight.

Taking to Facebook group Extreme Coupons and Bargains in the UKshe wrote: “Saw this today at the Stockport peeling center.

“Marks and Spencer.

“What a bargain it was.”

When people asked how they could find the business for themselves, the savvy shopper added, “Just past the cash registers, near the exit.”

You’ll have to be quick if you want to take advantage of the savings, as the woman told how Pampers were “reduced to clear”.

Some stores often reduce old stock to make room for new items, and therefore reductions may vary from store to store.

Many parents seemed keen to rush to M&S to make the most of the bag-friendly deal.

One said: “I would have emptied the shelves!!!”

Another tagged her friend and said: “go get some for both of us”.

A third wrote: “bargainnnn”.

In recent years, prices for baby products have skyrocketed, leaving many cash-strapped parents increasingly worried and frustrated.

We recently shared how parents are going crazy for “bargain” Pampers baby wipes after a giant box was scanned at the checkout for just £8.

The box includes nine packs of 46 baby wipes and usually costs £18 – but a special offer meant one mum got lucky.

How to Save Money on Diapers

SHOPPING for diapers and other baby items can be an expensive undertaking, but parents are realizing there is a trick that can save them money.

If you have a newborn or several young children to care for, you could really see your expenses increase.

A money-saving mum was shocked to discover she could have saved money on nappies for years.

She posted her discovery in the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

The mom wrote: “If you haven’t already and you have kids still in diapers, download the “Pampers Club App.”

“You can earn discount coupons and remember to use the code to redeem a £6 discount coupon straight away.”

She wasn’t the only one to discover the deal, as the post generated more than 30 comments from equally surprised parents who were eager to share the deal.

One social media user wrote: “I wish I had known this when my son was born.”

Another tagged his friend and said: “Have you looked into this yet?!”

A third added: “Ohhh yes I’ll try!”

Essentially, every package of Pampers diapers you buy has a code on the inside of the box. If you scan this code in the Pampers Club app, you will receive a stamp.

The app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store on Android.

You earn one point per diaper in a package, so the larger the packages, the more points you will receive.

For example, if you scan a code inside a package of 86 diapers, you will receive 86 points.

You can then exchange your points for coupons to redeem at retailers such as Tesco, Asda, Boots, Morrisons or Sainsbury’s.

Plus, Pampers is currently offering £6 off Pampers nappies at Asda, Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Coop or Boots.

She shared News of your very cheap purchase in Facebook Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group.

She posted an image of the wipes and wrote: “Not sure if everything has been reduced by Asda from £18 to £8.”

The post accumulated more than 40 likes and almost 50 comments, many of them praising the mother.

“One person said “great find” while another wrote: “bargain!”

Meanwhile, one clever mum has revealed how other parents can get all their baby essentials, including nappies, for free.
