BEING pregnant can be tiring, but it can have some perks when it comes to gifts.

Megan Micklewright, who runs The Savvy Spender, shared eight things pregnant women can get for free to help them financially.

Speaking to Fabulous, the savings genius said: “’The best place to get access to free resources is to keep in touch with your midwife and ask questions.

“Also signed up to apps like Pregnant+, Emma’s Diary and Bounty – this will keep you informed of any pregnancy freebies and discounts.

“As a mom, I also share all the freebies I find on Instagram and TikTok.”

DENTAL CARE

The first thing on her list is free NHS dental care during pregnancy and a year after the baby is born.

Megan claims you need to spend £20 to qualify for the free item, but it can include a free nappy bag, baby bottles, bath set or bath toy.

Megan also recommended that the government Sure Start Maternity Bag where you can get a one-off payment of £500 if you qualify.
