LUCY Watson has been slammed by furious mums after sharing a video boasting about life with a newborn.
The Made In Chelsea star welcomed baby Willoughby, her first child with husband James Watson, in February.
Lucy has been open about motherhood in photos and videos on her social media pages and recently spoke about being in the “trenches of having a newborn”.
However, in a clip on TikTok this week, Lucy told her followers that she’s come out the other side now that Willoughby is eight weeks old.
“If you were about to have a newborn, this is what it looks like eight weeks after giving birth,” she said.
“I just had a facial with my favorite beautician.
“Feeling new. Bought some matcha oatmeal, bought some healthy food.”

She had left Willoughby with her husband and some “pumped milk” and enjoyed “driving around playing my music like a teenager”.
Lucy added that the other positive development of this phase of motherhood is that she “hasn’t cried for a while.”
“Well, I cried this morning because I thought I lost my bomb carrier,” she added.
“But I don’t really have many meltdowns anymore.”
Concluding her video, Lucy insisted: “I’m telling you, 8 weeks postpartum, this is it.
People were quick to comment on the clip, with many insisting that Lucy missed the mark with her message.
“If you are reading this and this is not your experience in 8 weeks, you are not alone, it was the worst time of my life (even it got better),” one wrote.
“Moms, please know this is not even remotely the norm,” said another.
“I’m 15 months old, in the trenches of childhood, and I still haven’t had a facial (or even a haircut).”
“Most people can barely afford formula/diapers on maternity pay, WHAT IS IT!!!!” a third wrote.
And someone else insisted Lucy was detailing a “hyper-privileged” lifestyle, adding: “I’m genuinely happy she’s been arriving for 8 weeks. I think it might be one of the most insensitive things I’ve ever seen on the internet.
“To start off a ‘if you’re in the newborn trenches’ video and then talk about the fact that you just had matcha and then got a facial… just read the room, Lucy, read the room. “
Lucy then responded to the backlash, writing: “8 weeks of PP was a turning point for me!
“It doesn’t mean it will be for everyone, but for some it could be.
“Do I feel 100% alone? Obviously not, but I’m feeling so much better and I wanted to share.”
And others defended her, with one writing: “Obviously she knows it’s not everyone’s experience, but it’s hers and we should all celebrate that because it’s good to hear positive pp stories too.”
“Some of these comments are so bitter she could afford a facial and it made her feel great so I’m here for it,” said another.
“It’s really refreshing to hear about such a positive postpartum experience. TikTok is full of sadness and sadness,” commented a third.
“I love it for you.”
“Haters gonna hate,” wrote another person.
“I got back into it after 5 weeks of having my twins. It was amazing. She looks so happy and is glowing!!!”
