An 11-year-old mother of 11 left people scratching their heads after showing off her unique approach to mealtime with her bumper brood.

New York City’s Alice Dougherty has made a name for herself online, thanks in part to the interesting food she prepares for her family — and her latest concoction is no exception.

The mother took to social media to reveal the children’s pool that she filled with nachos and all the toppings for her children to dive into.

In the now-viral video, Alicia can be seen kneeling next to a small blue pool and first dumping 10 huge bags of tortillas into the pool.

Mom then loaded the fries with a layer of meat, chunks of melted orange cheese, and an entire jar of sauce.

But the nachos weren’t even close to being finished – Mom still had a lot more toppings to add.

Next came four bags of grated cheese, olives, tomatoes and, of course, plenty of cream.

Once she finished adding all the ingredients, the kiddie pool was filled to the brim with the delicious food.

Alicia shared the video of her doing it all on TikTok, along with the caption: “Cinco de Mayo pool nachos. Do olives belong on nachos?”

Her post caught the attention of many other parents, who didn’t know what to do with their poolside snack.

One commented on the clip: “Seems like a huge waste of food.”

A second said: “Why do they eat like dogs?”

And a third agreed: “It’s like giving a dog a bowl.”

“What is that? I feel bad for these kids,” wrote another.

But others loved the quirky idea and some even wanted to try it out for themselves.

“Now I would like to have a nacho pool,” said one hungry social media user.

Another agreed: “This looks so good, people love to hate it.”

“Imagine doing this at a big party or barbecue, I loved it,” added another.

Meanwhile, others were just concerned that the plastic kiddie pool wasn’t safe to eat.

“You shouldn’t eat plastic that isn’t food grade,” one viewer pointed out.
