A mum urged Tesco customers to check their receipts after hers won her a decent freebie.

Curly explained that she was grocery shopping when she “got a coupon” to pay for her purchase.

And although she “assumed it would be normal trash,” she was in for a surprise when she discovered its true purpose.

“I received a coupon after my purchase at Tesco,” she wrote in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.

“I assumed it would be regular junk, but it turned out to be a free pack of Pampers with my Clubcard!”

As he has an 11-week-old baby, he chose size 2, “which means I got 44 free diapers”.

“I think they cost £7.50 without Clubcard,” she added.

People were quick to comment on the post, with one writing: “Wow! I always forget to check my receipts or vouchers.

“I have a baby coming in July and the more free diapers I can get, the better!”

“You can also reuse the voucher. I used it twice,” added another.

“I’ll have to take care of that,” commented a third.

“My daughter also got her free pack of Pampers today,” said another person.

“Unfortunately, my daughter reacts to treats, so they are no good for us,” said another person.

“But she had to stay in the NICU for a while because she was 7 weeks premature, so I’m going to donate the diapers to them.
