SOME baby names are like Marmite – you either love them or hate them.
But one woman has told of her horror after discovering her ex named their baby after her – and that’s not the worst of it.
The anonymous woman, from Australia, took to the Tea Time Facebook group and wrote: “My ex had a son… I just found out he called her by the same name as me.”
Although she didn’t expand on the caption any further, the comments section exploded, with intrigued social media users desperate to know more.
And luckily, the woman was on hand to shed more light on the unusual scenario, before dropping another bombshell.
She added: “I don’t think the baby’s mother knows about me now, even though he’s been with me for four years.
“We were also engaged! My name isn’t that common, which makes it weirder. It’s Freya.”
Unsurprisingly, people couldn’t wait to express their opinions on the matter.

“This is a mess,” one person wrote, according to Children’s space. “My heart would break if I found out my husband did this.”
A second commented: “He will be constantly reminded of you for the rest of his life now hahaha.”
“The fact that guys think they can get away with it is crazy,” a third added.
Meanwhile, another told how it is “weird on so many levels”, while another added: “OMG I would be vomiting.”
However, there were some people who took a very different perspective and saw no problem with their ex choosing the baby’s name.
“Maybe his wife suggested it and he just didn’t say it,” one person suggested.
“Or he told her he had an ex named Freya, and she said she didn’t care.”
Another chimed in: “Am I the only one who doesn’t think this is a big deal? It’s just a name.”
