Britain’s biggest family is about to get even bigger.

Although Sue and Noel Radford already have 22 children and 14 grandchildren, their eighth daughter, Katie, announced this weekend that she is expecting her 15th grandchild, aged 21.

Katie and her long-term boyfriend Connor held a gender reveal to announce their happy news, with the dad-to-be kicking a football and her 21-year-old mother using a cannon to indicate they are having a child.

“Baby Carter, Mom and Dad can’t wait to meet you!” Katie wrote alongside photos and videos of the moment Instagram.

Blue smoke billowed from the football, as Connor jumped with joy at the news that they were expecting a child.

And Katie, who was dressing her growing baby bump in a white dress, fell to the floor when she saw the blue confetti shooting from the cannon.

Katie’s sister Millie – herself a mother of three – shared the post to her Instagram Stories, writing: “Finally another little boy!

“You’re going to be the best mommy ever, I can’t wait to meet my nephew!”

Her other sister, Sophie, added: “I’m so happy for Katie and Connor. Such a beautiful boy!”

While Aimee wrote: “So happy for you both – another nephew!”

Further congratulations came from Radford’s fans, who took to the comments section of Katie’s post to offer their love and support.

“You will be amazing parents!” one wrote.

“Seeing how you are with young people, you are so natural – both of you!”

“Oh my God, I’m crying at work!” another added.

“I am so happy! Best couple, best mummy that ever existed!

“Best parents to be! I love it!”

“Congratulations Katie, I had no idea!” a third commented.

“You don’t look pregnant at all!”

The news of Katie’s pregnancy came after she asked Sue and Noel if Connor could move into the family’s Morecame mansion, in scenes shown on reality show 22 Kids and Counting earlier this year.

“It was actually a really difficult decision… I don’t know, it’s a bit complicated to be honest,” Noel said.

“Connor is obviously trying to prove he can play a suitable role in the house,” Sue added.

“But I’m still not sure. It’s expensive to have other people at home.”

But shortly afterwards the moment of truth arrived. Sue and Noel sat down with Katie and Connor to give their verdict.

Katie pleaded, “I really want Connor to move out. I think I’ll be really upset if he can’t.”

To which Noel explained: “Well, I know you guys really want to live together.”

Sue then confirmed: “We are full, the house is full.”

The 22-year-old mother then smiled: “You’re really good with the vacuum cleaner, so it’s okay.”

But despite initial concerns, Noel revealed: “Everyone here needs to do their bit.

“But you have worked very hard to prove yourself.

“We like you, Connor, you can move out.”
