FERNE McCann has been praised after sharing a genius trick for splitting a banana into three baby-safe sticks.
The reality TV star has two children, and her youngest daughter, Finty, is currently undergoing baby-led weaning.

On a video On her TikTok page, Ferne shared 10-month-old Finty’s favorite snacks that “you’ll probably have in your fridge.”
After placing Finty in the high chair, she peeled a banana and removed the sticky bits.
“This is the best banana trick,” said Ferne, taking his finger and pushing it right into the middle of the fruit.
After doing this, the banana naturally broke into three pieces.
“There it is,” she said.
“Perfect banana chips!”
She then handed the poles to Finty, who dove right in.
Ferne went on to show off some of Finty’s other favorite snacks, including chunks of shredded cheddar cheese and ham rolls.
“Watch how fast this girl moves in search of a blueberry,” Ferne laughed.
“So I literally put it on her desk, crushed it with my thumb, split it into two or three – she’s obsessed.”
Finty is also a fan of cucumber and hummus, as well as dry cereal – which Ferne gives her when she needs to occupy herself while preparing dinner.
A scrambled egg is another “quick and easy” one that Ferne likes to make for her daughter.
And the little one also likes olives, while her “favorite” is Greek yogurt, on which Ferne sometimes sprinkles cinnamon.
People were quick to comment on the video, with many pointing out how well Finty eats.
“What a brilliant eater,” one wrote.
“I’ve never seen a baby so young enjoy her food like this – she can’t eat fast enough, God bless her!”
“So adorable to see a baby actually enjoying her food, God bless her,” added another.
“My daughter is like that, since the day she ate for the first time she eats very well, she eats anything you give her”, commented a third.
“Wow sweetie she is an absolute doll and she is thriving,” someone else wrote.
