Many fans were quick to comment on the new way Stacey stacked her dishes on the shelves.

Instead of opening the dishwasher door and filling it with the dirty items, she removed the racks, placed them on the counter near the mess, and placed them there.

When they were full, she added them again and turned on the machine.

Stacey said in the clip: “I actually did what I said I was going to do today and I just didn’t do anything.

“I had a nap and everything.

“The house is in ruins but everything is fine, it’s Sunday and I was tired.

“I’m going to give it a good cleaning now.”

After using his unusual dishwashing method, the kitchen of his £1.2 million Pickle Cottage was left sparkling.

Stacey wrote: “Calm is restored – while they to sleep anyway.

“It’s so good, tomorrow I will be very grateful for tonight.”

Fans couldn’t let their rack get hacked and were quick to message Stacey with their thoughts.

One person wrote: “Literally never thought of taking the racks out of the dishwasher to load them – genius!”

Another added: “OMG Stacey, why did I never think to take the dishwasher trays TO the mess?”

Stacey was amused by all the comments and responded in a video.

The mother-of-five explained: “A lot of you are messaging me about the same thing.

“You know what, as I get older I get lazier and I try to find more and more ways to do less, to make less effort.

“I just think why bend down to put things in the dishwasher when you can just slam the trays and do it sideways?”

She recently shared how she transformed her greenhouse from an abandoned appearance into a stylish outdoor space.

Inside Stacey Solomon’s Pickle House

STACEY Solomon spent a huge £1.2 million on Pickle Cottage – and Joe Swash didn’t invest a penny.

She just forked out the money for her Tudor-style property in Essex, which is set on 2.5 acres and has an outdoor pool.

The former X Factor star and Joe live there with Zachary, Leighton, Rex, Rose and Belle.

It is not known why Stacey went alone as former EastEnders actor Joe is worth more than £1 million but has also been bankrupt twice in 2009 and 2013.

The astute Stacey has shown she is skilled at running a wide range of successful businesses, including TV lines, books, clothing and homewares.

Her main company, Key Map Entertainments, is worth just £3 million – and she has also branched out into cosmetics.

The former X Factor contestant registered the company Belle & Rose Ltd, named after her two youngest daughters.

The Loose Women star loves a good DIY project – and now Stacey has come to the rescue to help Brits with her latest TV venture, Renovation Rescue.

The new series, which airs on Channel 4, follows the home interiors fanatic helping people who have encountered bad builders.

Whether it’s brickwork or basic plumbing, Stacey is also involved in the projects and sharing tips she learned while renovating her £1.2 million home, Pickle Cottage.

The former X Factor star, who is married to Joe Swash, is mum to Zachary, 15, Leighton, 11, Rex, five, Rose, two and one-year-old Belle.

On the show, Stacey joked that she is better at DIY than her husband, saying he is “not practical at all”.

She laughed: ”It’s probably best we keep the DIY projects to just one person – that person is me.

”Because I’m much better at it than Joe.”
