As the reality TV star tried to relax in the living room, one of the pair’s children could be heard in the background, desperately trying to get her attention.

”Mother! Mother! Mother! Mommy!

”Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! ” the child wouldn’t stop as Cara seemed desperate to find a way out.

“This is already a real representation of my semester,” the 33-year-old groaned in the caption.

The light-hearted clip has since taken over the platform, as hundreds of other parents have also rushed to share their frustration.

One mother shouted: ”And to think we have the 6 week holiday coming up soon.”

Someone interjected: ”We should give credit to teachers – imagine 30 children with 1 teacher, thank you to all the teachers in the world.”

“You missed the ‘I’m hungry’ after mom,” another laughed.

But while many parents seemed to dread the six long weeks off, some couldn’t wait to spend more time with their kids.

”I think I’m the only one who loves taking my kids out of school.”

‘Holidays are so much more important than school – I’ll pay the fines if you can’t pay them,’ says mum-of-three Katherine Ryan

”I homeschool and love having them at home. Do things with them, keep them busy, dad!”, advised a mother.

Cara and Nathan, 31, met and fell in love on the ITV2 series in 2016.

The loved-up duo share their journey online since leaving the famous villa, from buying their first home to Cara’s struggles with mental health, as well as relatable parenting moments.

The couple are among the few who have stood the test of time despite the hardships, and have since welcomed Freddie-George in 2017, with adorable daughter Delilah joining the family in 2020.

Where kids can eat for free or cheap this semester

Keeping little ones fed this term is something millions of cash-strapped parents worry about – but luckily there are plenty of places offering fantastic deals.

Sarah-Jane Outten, shopping expert at MyVoucherCodes, said: “Looking at discount and voucher sites would be my first stop – so take a look at all the deals on offer via your supermarket loyalty cards or apps.

“Supermarket cafes are also great places to feed the family on the cheap, with a range of offers from kids eating for £1 or eating for free when an adult pays full price for their meal.

“Many restaurant chains will also send out emails before half term to announce any deals they have on offer at the time, so don’t be too eager to delete them from your inbox.”

Angus Steakhouse

Children aged eight and under can enjoy free meals at Angus Steakhouse on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, as well as every day during half term, when accompanied by a paying adult.
