EVERY mother’s pregnancy journey is unique – while some have a huge bump, for others there are barely any visible changes.

Nikki Salazar, believed to be from the US, belonged to the latter category, sporting a flat stomach at nine months pregnant.

Sharing her experience in a recent TikTok video, the dark-haired stunner explained that her barely noticeable baby bump was the reason she didn’t take any maternity photos.

In the video now viralwhich has been viewed over 4 million times, the gorgeous mom was seen wearing tight leggings, teeny shorts, crop tops and miniskirts, all in the months leading up to her son’s birth.

The young mother, who gave birth to her son last year at the age of 22, said the reasons she never showed was because she had a “big uterus” and was carrying it on her back.

The stylish mom bravely opened up about her pregnancy journey, which began with losing “about 15 pounds” in the first three months while she vomited a lot, Kidspot reported.

However, since this was “early on,” Nikki said she didn’t think much of it.

As time went on, there were still no signs of a belly, despite Nikki having “all the symptoms and feeling kicks regularly.”

At around eight months, the young mother revealed she started to “feel really heavy” – but, just like before, there was no big belly.

Looking back on the time – which she described as a “crazy experience” – Nikki claimed that “even in the hospital” no one knew she was pregnant.

But while many women struggle with weight gain during pregnancy – which is totally normal – Nikki confessed it was difficult as she always imagined having a big belly during pregnancy,

“One of the biggest reasons I was sad about not having a belly,” the young mom said, noting that she has never done a maternity photo shoot.

“It’s definitely upsetting not to feel the impact.”

The video recently took over the internet, leaving many gobsmacked – and even envious of her slender body.

One of them advised: “Consider yourself lucky.”

Someone chimed in: ”Wow, luck!!!!! I still look 9 months pregnant and my son is 4 years old.

What factors can affect the size or shape of your belly?

The shape and size of your baby’s belly can vary depending on a number of different factors, which can include:

  • Your height and frame – If you are short and relatively petite, your belly may appear more prominent than if you are a taller, heavier mom.
  • Your core muscles – Yes, that pre-pregnancy six-pack can make a huge difference! Toned abdominal muscles can mean you don’t bulge out as quickly as your tight core maintains its shape longer. In some cases, mothers may also carry the baby higher when the bulge appears. Your age and whether you’ve had a baby before can also affect your core muscles. However, it’s important to remember that you don’t need a super defined belly to be considered healthy.
  • The position your baby is lying in – The way your baby is positioned can affect the appearance and size of your belly.
  • How Many Babies You’re Carrying – Whether you’re expecting twins, triplets, or even more, your belly may expand to make more room for everyone on board.

“This sounds better than me not being pregnant,” another person shouted.

”This is so rare, but I understand! This collision is also beautiful,” wrote a supportive user.

“It looks like I’m 9 months pregnant and I’ve never been pregnant,” joked a fifth.

As the little one joined the family, the young mother shared a touching photo of her son.

“And then he was here,” the text on the adorable photo read, alongside a pink heart emoji.
